Electrical Engineer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting within commercial facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
-
Conceptualize and develop comprehensive power distribution systems to meet the unique requirements of each project.
-
Perform detailed calculations to support the design and implementation of electrical systems.
-
Execute Construction Administration (CA) tasks, including reviewing submittals/shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and participating in CA meetings.
-
Conduct site visits to assess field installations and provide field observations to inform design decisions.
-
Manage assigned projects from inception to completion, coordinating and directing design teams as necessary.

Plan, schedule, and oversee detailed phases of project work while upholding stringent quality standards.

Lead design and construction meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
Qualifications and Competencies:

Proven track record of successfully completing projects, with strong project planning and delivery experience.
-
MEP experience is a requirement.

Exceptional attention to detail and superior verbal and written communication skills.

Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on, adaptive approach, and a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Ability to thrive under pressure and meet demanding deadlines with a heightened sense of urgency.
Technology/Computer Experience:
-
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.

Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 7 years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design within an architectural or MEP firm.

LEED accreditation is highly desired.

Proficient in project management, including managing work to produce projects on schedule and within budget.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining successful client relationships.

Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Requirements:

Current valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Current Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
-
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Tuesday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

- Design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial facilities
- Design of overall power distribution system
- Perform calculations to support system designs
- Perform CA tasks, review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend CA meetings
- Conduct site visits to evaluate field installations and conduct field observations
- Manage assigned projects including coordination and or direction for design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basis
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work while maintaining quality standards on all projects
- Lead design and construction meetings

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENTENCIES:
- Proven track record of completing projects, strong project planning and delivery experience
- Must have MEP experience
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
- Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive and client focused
- Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgency
TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:
- Advance knowledge of AutoCAD, and Revit
