Sales Engineer
Sales Engineer
Candidate should be experienced in capital equipment sales for air pollution control systems or experience with combustion, air handling, heating and thermal dynamics. Capital equipment sales experience selling to; chemical process applications, pharmaceutical manufacturing, paints and coating applications, semi-conductor applications, refining and petrochemical, power generation, and others.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to identify and reach targeted markets
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Assessing equipment needs and determining system requirements
- Securing and renewing product orders, arranging delivery, and managing billing
- Planning and modifying products to meet customer needs
- Explaining to customers how improvements will reduce costs or increase production
- Following up on solid products to ensure the customer is happy
- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
- Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
- Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience meeting the qualifications described above
- Travel required per candidate and qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with VOC, NOx, HAP air pollution control systems
