Senior Manager of Integration and Transformation
Director of Integration and Project Management
This position is responsible for driving forward this global parts and supply chain solutions provider’s fast-paced acquisition integration strategy and other critical growth initiatives. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying and prioritizing integration workstreams, managing efficient post-close integration processes, participating in efficient due diligence processes for acquisitions, coordinating cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate acquisitions into the IT, Operations, Finance, and Commercial infrastructure, and advancing other critical growth initiatives at the company level and within the SBU’s.
Geography – This role is ideally located in Los Angeles and will require in office work.
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio & Program Management:
- Oversee gating and governance processes.
- Plan and coordinate across multiple projects.
- Ensure visibility and act as a point of escalation.
- Drive fast-paced execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Methodology Development & Rollout:
- Develop and implement Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Enhance execution maturity, consistency, transparency, and velocity.
- Perform regular inspections and measurements to ensure methodology adherence.
- Project Resource Management:
- Conduct capacity planning for project resources.
- Recruit, interview, and manage performance of project managers.
- On-board and coach new team members.
- M&A Project Management:
- Plan and coordinate integration activities post-merger or acquisition.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage invoices and project-related tools.
- Prepare and deliver reports.
- Leadership & Strategy Execution:
- Provide steady leadership amid uncertainty, change, and tight deadlines.
- Support the company’s acquisition strategy with detailed integration plans.
- Communicate key learnings from integrations and implementations to the executive team.
- Prioritize, scope, resource, and execute strategic business unit projects.
- Special Operational Projects:
- Manage execution of special projects such as facility renovations, relocations, and footprint planning.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5-7 years in project/program/integration management and acquisition execution.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to build and lead diverse, distributed teams.
- Experience developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations.
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to take risks.
- Strong independent decision-making and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills.
- Effective consultative and influencing approach.
- Ability to enact change quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and PMO tools like SmartSheets, MS Project, Planview, and Clarity.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel (60%-80%).
