Nurse Director – Behavioral Health Responsibilities:

Assume 24-hour accountability for unit oversight, ensuring the provision of compliant direct patient care.
Foster and sustain clinical competencies among staff through ongoing educational initiatives.
Conduct assessments, develop plans, execute strategies, and evaluate team members’ proficiency through Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives, patient care metrics, and client satisfaction evaluations.
Perform additional duties as delegated.
Mandatory presence on-site.

Qualifications:

Possess three (3) to five (5) years of proven experience as a Director or Manager in a Hospital Behavioral Health setting.
Proficient in navigating survey processes within an inpatient psychiatric environment (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, Department of Human Services).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple department heads and C-suite executives, with a primary focus on optimizing patient care operations.
Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nurse Director Behavior Health Responsibilities:

24-hour unit accountability to supervise and provide compliant direct patient care.
Develops and maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates team members’ competency through PI projects, patient care outcomes, and customer satisfaction surveys.
Other duties as assigned
Required to be onsite

Nurse Director Behavior Health Qualifications

Three (3) – Five (5) years of experience as Hospital Behavioral Health Director or Manager
Expertise with survey processes in an inpatient psychiatric setting (Joint Commission, CMS, Department of Human Services, etc.)
Experienced collaborator with multiple department directors and C-suite executives focused on patient care operations.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
