Vice President, Sales
Our client is a PE backed service company. As they continue to grow, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead their sales team and drive revenue growth. The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share for our client. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and fostering a culture of success and collaboration.

Geography: Local candidates only who are able to travel 25-50%

Key Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets, prioritizing organic growth and leveraging recent acquisitions.
    • Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective success, providing guidance, coaching, and support along the way.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and foster collaboration.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to refine predictive revenue models, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and booking projections.
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion, staying attuned to market trends and competitive dynamics.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to align sales efforts with overall company goals and objectives.
    • Partner with the Marketing Department to optimize pricing, product strategies, promotions, and packaging for maximum impact in the market.
    • Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of sales operations.
    • Oversee the development and management of sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation within the sales function.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a management capacity.
    • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and meet sales targets.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards exceptional performance.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks to drive business growth.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
