Revenue Cycle Manager

We are currently working with a PE backed healthcare organization looking to add a Revenue Cycle Manger to their team. The Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee AR follow up, posting of payments and continue to lead efforts in centralizing the RCM function.

This role will report to an RCM Director and have approximately 10 direct reports

Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads and supervises a team of proficient RCM professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering their professional growth.
  • Supervises the strategic planning, development, implementation, and upkeep of Practice Management, billing, and mobile capture applications.
  • Facilitates effective resolutions for intricate billing issues with health plans, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conducts critical analysis of RCM metrics to identify areas for enhancement and improvement.
  • Achieves Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for RCM services and drives continuous enhancement.
  • Develops and manages the departmental budget effectively.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary, assigned, or requested.

Qualifications/Education/Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Understanding of clinical operations, front office procedures, and authorizations.
  • Detail-oriented, maintains professionalism, and exhibits reliability.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of maintaining professional interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver results.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in successfully juggling multiple priorities.
