We are working with a national leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification, in delivering non-destructive testing, inspection, engineering, and manpower services to the aerospace, power, and the oil and gas industries.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CTO, Presidents, and Operational Leaders to ensure an effective HSE, Quality, and Radiation Safety Program for all Field and Office operations.
- Manage and oversee the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and control of the Safety Program and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality programs, standardizing procedures and forms in alignment with regulatory, client, and internal requirements.
- Lead, train, and improve the team of CNC machinists and programmers, striving for best-in-class performance.
- Support the transfer of new products and technologies, site launches, NPI processes, and engineering changes.
- Conduct studies and analyze changes needed to achieve required manufacturing/site KPIs.
- Develop and maintain standardized KPIs on quality assurance, radiation safety, and HSE programs, providing metrics for reporting purposes.
- Lead an effective organizational HSE, quality, and Radiation Safety training program, including onboarding and orientation.
- Manage claims and ensure proactive involvement in injury reduction, accident prevention, and reduction in lost time claims.
- Stay informed about new processes or technologies and make recommendations for potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
- Enforce company policies, safe work practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruit, select, orient, and train employees in compliance with company policy.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results in partnership with human resources.
- Train, mentor, and supervise subordinate safety and radiation safety staff.
Education and Work Experience:
- 10+ years of related HSE experience.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive supervisory work experience preferred.
- 5+ years of related radiation safety experience preferred.
- Experience with ISO 9000, ASME NQA-1, and NRC; 10 CFR 50 quality programs preferred.
- Experience in using customer web-based pre-qualification systems.
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Professional Certifications, such as the CSP, and/or CIH would be a plus.
- OSHA Outreach Trainer credentials a plus.
- Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
